December 27-29 2019 with John and Levi

John brought Levi to Jerusalem to help lead his tour bus group.  We got so spend some great time with them. The next two pictures are at Church of the Holy Sepulchre.  John had made friends with Father Fergus in 2017 and this year John arranged with him to give a us tour of the parts of the building seldom seen by tourists.

 This was the first night John and Levi arrived and we had dinner in our apartment.

 We waited in line to see the Dome of the Rock for about 45 minutes.  During that time Levi got some Falafels to eat.  Then we enjoyed some nice time at the Dome of the Rock.  It was peaceful, serene and just very nice to be there and try to imagine what it would have been like to be at the Temple that had existed in the same place.

It was so much fun to have time with Levi and John--really a rare opportunity to have exclusive time with them.  Levi is fun to be with and easy to talk with because he knowledgeable about so many things and has so many avid interests.
