However, Lee got Pharoah's Revenge and was incredibly sick with a fever too. The night before we left Cairo, he forgot and put tap water on his toothbrush. That was all it took for him to get Salmonella or Shigella or whatever he got. He slept for those 4 hours of prep, while I got everything prepared and packed for the party. Fortunately, we had everything prepared except for buying the bread. We quickly scratched that idea and together we loaded the car--luckily we met Jack and Dan Belnap in the stairwell and they helped us carry everything up the stairs to the car.
By a miracle Lee was able to drive to Beersheva. He blessed and passed the Sacrament, then went to bed (we meet in a hotel), while I "conducted" the meeting. After Sacrament meeting, we had the Christmas party, which everyone enjoyed. The sisters brought their favorite Christmas foods from Ukraine.
But--no pictures!
I had brought antibiotics for intestinal infection like Salmonella and Lee took them. About 5 days later he was better and able to get out of bed. Also luckily, we were still on Christmas break and had no assignments.
