Lee and I were invited to Neomi's son's wedding.  It was a lavish affair with pre-wedding food, the wedding, and then dancing and a large buffet dinner.  We left at 10:30 PM, but the party went on until 3 AM the next day.  It was a privilege to be invited and we enjoyed meeting her family.  Neomi is a very kind and gracious person, who loves family and is close to them.  We loved being a part of the evening.  Neomi and I had been commiserating about "mother of the groom" dresses for about 4 months.  We were both able to find great dresses and it was fun to have that in common.
